Greenfaulds High School
Greenfaulds High School is a mixed, non-denominational six-year comprehensive secondary school, which was opened in 1971. Greenfaulds is situated in the west of Cumbernauld and provides a service to the Greenfaulds, Ravenswood, Condorrat, Westfield, Eastfield, Balloch areas and parts of Seafar. The head teacher is Mrs Linda Parks. Currently there are 1,420 pupils at the school, which has a maximum capacity of 1,450.
==Facilities==
There are nine rooms equipped with computers for use mainly in Business Education, Computing Studies, and Graphic Communication. These are also available for use in pupils' course work and other tasks.
There is a swimming pool (Now out of commission and drained), a games hall, gymnasium and fitness studio as well as football, hockey and rugby pitches and a full size running track. There is a theatre, which is used for assemblies, meetings and school shows.
A lift connects three of the main teaching floors but this still provides only limited access for disabled pupils.
